What to do next

One of @school-in-UK’s key aims is to place overseas students in UK independent schools which are carefully chosen by our professional team (click to see ‘what we do’) to match each individual applicant’s needs.

The simple first step for a parent or student wishing to arrange a place in a UK independent (fee-paying) school is to complete the student contact form. This will start the following process:

1. @school-in-UK responds to your enquiry within 48 hours and provides you with a web link to our on-line application form.

2. You then complete and submit the secure on-line application form.

3. We will confirm acceptance of the application form and then use our experience and wide connections and contacts with the UK private school sector to find the right school for you.

4. You will be contacted either directly from the UK or via our own representative in your country. In order to select the most appropriate UK independent schools for applicants to choose from, we need to build a full picture of the applicant at this stage. This will include a telephone interview arranged at a mutually convenient time.

5. @school-in-UK informs you of the school(s) from which it has obtained conditional offers of a place on the applicant’s behalf. Provided the applicant is happy with the choice(s) made (maximum of three schools), we arrange for the schools’ prospectuses to be mailed to your home address. If none of the schools is acceptable, then two additional school choices will be provided, where possible.

6. The applicant then places schools in order of preference and @school-in-UK arranges for the completion of all registration and admission formalities with the first choice school.

7. @school-in-UK confirms the decision of the first choice school and will continue to assist the applicant as appropriate either directly or through our own in-country representative.
